Calistoga Art Center's 3rd Annual "Soup-er Bowl" fundraiser was held Saturday, November 12th 2011 and was once again SOLD OUT!
14 Calistoga Restaurants competed this year. The winner of the title "Best Soup in Town 2011" went to Checkers for their Tortilla Soup. Second place was awarded to Calistoga Kitchen for Chinese Duck Soup and Calistoga Inn won third place with Provincetown Portuguese Stew.
A Blind-Tasting Soup Competition... A dozen or more Calistoga Restaurants generously offer their culinary skills as they vie for the title of "Best Soup in Town" and bragging rights for a year. Upon arrival, select your own, hand-crafted ceramic bowl made by the Calistoga Art Center's ceramics students. Enjoy the scrumptious variety of soups (along with bread, wine and dessert) and vote for your favorite soup. The bowl is yours to keep!
